Internships in Lebanon: A Guide for Students and Fresh Graduates

How students and fresh graduates in Lebanon can find internships, write an application with no experience, and turn an internship into a job offer.

1 min read

An internship is often the fastest way from university to a first job in Lebanon. It gives you real experience for your CV, references, and — if you do well — a chance to be hired by the same company.

When and where to look

  • Start looking two to three months before the summer or before your final semester ends; many companies plan intern places early.
  • Check internships on Wazefli, updated as employers post them.
  • Ask your university career office — most Lebanese universities keep lists of partner companies.
  • Contact companies directly in your field, especially in technology, media and advertising, banking and healthcare.

Applying with no experience

  1. Put education first: your major, expected graduation date and relevant courses or projects.
  2. Add anything practical: university projects, volunteering, club roles, part-time jobs, freelance work.
  3. List tools you can already use — Excel, design software, programming languages, social-media platforms.
  4. Write two or three sentences on why this company and this field interest you. Specific beats generic.

Our CV guide for Lebanon explains the layout step by step.

Turn the internship into a job

  • Treat it like a real job: arrive on time, meet deadlines, and ask questions early.
  • Ask for feedback halfway through, and act on it.
  • Keep a list of what you delivered — you will use it in your CV and in the conversation about a full-time role.
  • Before you leave, ask your manager directly whether there is an opening, and for a reference if there is not.
